Ingredients
- 1 Unit Chef Mix Egusi
- 1.5 litres Beef Stock
- 200ml Palm Oil
- 3 Seasoning Cubes
- 100g Shredded Ugu Leaves
- 1kg Beef Cubes
- 200g Cleaned Dry Fish
- 100g Stock Fish (cleaned and boiled)
- 500g Mixed Meats, tripe, Brown pomo (cleaned and cooked)
- Extra Stock
Method
Step 1
- Season beef cubes and add desired quantity of the dry pepper and crayfish in the Chef Mix Pack
- Cook without adding water for about 5 minutes, stirring carefully
- All about 2 litres of stock or water if stock is not available and cook meat until tender
Step 2
- In a bowl, add palm to the egusi and mix thoroughly, add to cooked meat and stir
- Reduce heat, cover pot and simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Check seasoning and add more stock if required
Step 3
- Add shredded ugu, stir and turn off heat after 2 minutes
- Served with Eba, Poundo or Semovita.
